What to Expect
Placing an Order
Every Ouie piece begins its life with intent. We do not hold inventory and each order is made specifically for you.
You can place your order directly through our website, or, for more significant purchases, request a one-on-one appointment with our concierge. These private consultations are available in person or online, and allow for deeper discussion around bespoke considerations or specific requests.
The Manufacturing Process
Once your order is confirmed, your piece enters production. It will be built by hand in one of our trusted specialist ateliers, a process that balances traditional techniques with precision-led innovation including CNC machining. On average, production takes up to seven weeks from the point of order, though timelines may vary slightly depending on the complexity of the piece or seasonality.
Every piece is individually quality checked by our internal team before it is sent for hallmarking. Ouie pieces carry a full UK hallmark, certified by the London Assay Office — a final step that ensures authenticity and material integrity. Hallmarking typically takes one additional week.
Packaging and Delivery
- Orders under £3,000 are delivered in a drawstring dust bag made from vintage cotton-check fabrics, individually sourced in limited quantities and never repeated.
- Orders over £3,000 arrive in our signature machine-milled aluminium hard case, accompanied by the cotton dust bag. These cases are also available separately for gifting or storage.
Once complete, your order is shipped fully insured via DHL Express. Worldwide delivery typically takes 1–3 working days, depending on your location. All shipments are tracked, signed for, and discreetly packaged.
Aftercare
Your order includes a certificate of authenticity and is covered by a lifetime manufacturing guarantee. We also offer one complimentary service within the first year of purchase. Further services are available on request.

Product Care
Jewellery Care
Each Ouie creation is precious and deserves the highest level of care. With our array of services, you can maintain the brilliance and longevity of your Ouie jewellery, including cleaning and polishing, for a fee. Please contact our concierge with any questions or to arrange a service.
Sterling Silver
To preserve the polish of your sterling silver jewellery, avoid exposure to household cleaning products, bleach and other strong chemicals. We recommend that you store your silver jewellery in its cotton pouch. To clean, apply a small amount of silver polish to a soft cloth, then gently rub the silver with the cloth several times. Rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and blot dry and shine your silver with a polishing cloth or mitts to remove tarnish and restore shine.
Gold and Platinum
To preserve the polish of your gold and platinum jewellery, avoid exposure to household cleaning products and bleach. We recommend that you store your jewellery in its cotton pouch for safekeeping.
- Place your gold or platinum jewellery into the cleaner solution.
- After two minutes, gently remove your jewellery from the solution.
- Gently clean behind the settings and in between crevices with a soft bristle brush to remove any debris.
- Rinse, blot dry and shine your gold or platinum jewellery with a polishing cloth.
Gemstones and Pearls
We recommend that you avoid exposing diamond, gemstone and pearl jewellery to variable temperatures, cosmetics and ultrasonic cleaning.
- Place your gemstone jewellery into some jewellery cleaner solution.
- After two minutes, gently remove your jewellery from the solution.
- Gently clean behind the settings and in between crevices with a soft bristle brush to remove any debris.
- Rinse the jewellery and dry with a polishing cloth.
NOTE: Delicate gemstones can be cleaned with a soft brush and a mild soap and water solution.
If worn often, pearls should be professionally cleaned once a year.
The Ouie DNA
-
The Keyring®The Keyring Ring translates Ouie’s proprietary split-ring form into a continuous precious metal band. The geometry is based on two parallel bars that meet in a controlled one-millimetre gap, creating a precise point of tension while maintaining a perfect circular profile. The ring is cast as a single mass in solid precious metal and finished with a uniform high-polish surface. The form is engineered to sit flush on the hand with a smooth internal edge and consistent cross-section, producing a clean, uninterrupted line when worn.
-
ConstructionThe ring is produced using lost-wax casting from a CAD-generated model built to tight dimensional tolerances. The parallel bars are modelled with matched radii to ensure consistent thickness along the full circumference. Each piece is cast, trimmed, and polished in London, with all finishing performed by hand to achieve a reflective surface without distorting the underlying geometry. The one-millimetre opening is established in CAD and preserved through polishing to maintain the split-ring identity of the Keyring family.
-
Design NotesThis model scales the Keyring motif for wearability while retaining its core proportions. The separation between the bars introduces a subtle sense of movement when viewed from the side, and the circular profile produces a continuous highlight across the ring. The design is intentionally unbroken and unadorned, relying on material weight, proportion, and finish to define its character. The Keyring Ring functions as a standalone piece or as the foundation element for stacking with other Ouie forms.
